About...

Though she always had a love for acting, Reen's life took a different path for over 30 years.

After graduating from the University of WI-Madison, she embarked on a 10 year career in advertising. Her last advertising job was as Western Advertising Sales Manager for Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, in the San Francisco office.

Then Reen had two daughters and became a stay-at-home mom.

When her girls were very young, Reen volunteered to run the theatre ministry at church, which led her to co-founding a non-profit community theatre, Contra Costa Christian Theatre. For 8 years, she directed and produced a dozen plays and musicals, and managed over 200 volunteers. In 2004, Reen received a Shellie Award for Special Contribution to the Arts.

During the next 10 years, Reen moved to KY, OH, and TN, where she volunteered as a High School Drama Director, and as Hair, Make Up and/or Costumes Manager for the shows that her daughter's were in.
